Further to our previous COVID-19 update and additional Federal and State Government announcements regarding trading restrictions. The following advice in regards to Cellar Door trading that was clarified by the South Australia Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) :
A Closure Direction was made and signed under the Emergency Management Act 2004 – Non Essential Business (and Other Gatherings).
The Direction clearly covers general and hotel licences, on premise licences, club licences and production and sales licences (the majority of winery licence types). The Direction also covers outdoor spaces associated with these venues where that outdoor space is licensed.
The Direction requires these licensed premises to prohibit access to the members of the public and any member of the public is not to enter into the licensed premises.
